Job Description
UI/UX Designer gathers user requirements, design graphic elements and build navigation components. Candidates should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to welcome you. Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that needs and help us grow our customer base.
Job Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.
- Examine previous design feedback and briefs for new projects, and collaborate with the team.
- Investigate various topics, from the web or mobile usage analytics to trend spotting. Examine what works and what doesn’t with the users. Every piece of information that can aid in improving the product is critical.
- Use the insights as input for design decisions.
- Create the user experience and interface with the user’s needs in mind.
- Conduct observational research by observing the interactions of sample users with the product.
- Attend design and business strategy meetings and presentations.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in design, computer science, or a related field is required.
- Work experience as a UI/UX designer role is required.
- Portfolio of work in UI/UX design for mobile and web platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of Sketch, InVision, HTML, Visio, iOS, Android, Adobe Creative Suite, and other software.
- Knowledge of Figma, Adobe illustrators.
- Proficient enough in prototyping, wireframing.
- Determine the user’s needs, goals, behavior, and pain points.
- Identify issues in the design and ideate solutions.
- Proficient in wireframing and prototyping with Figma,
- Framer, Protopie, and other tools.
- Create information architecture and user flows that are centered on the user.
- Use a user-centered design approach and test and iterate designs.
- Proficient in creating low fidelity and high fidelity prototypes.
- Ability to work both in a group and independently
